Large bold flowers show off all summer long on this upright loose airy plant.
Although we have Pride Of Barbados listed as a tropical, it can make it through many of our winters here. We are just on the zone of it being perennial and it all depends on how mother nature treats us over the winter.
This plant is seldom ready in early spring, wait until later in the season or first part of summer for it.
If trying to use as a perennial, make sure the area does not sit wet and boggy through the winter months when it is dormant. Many times too much water will kill it before the cold temps do while it is hibernating.
