NAME: CAMELIA (Camellia japonica)

PREFERS:Shade to filtered sun, under deciduous trees is okay

SIZE: 5'-10' tall & 3' - 5' wide (can be kept trimmed smaller)

AVAILABLE :Fall and Winter

HARDY: 10 - 20 degrees

INFORMATION: Attractive upright glossy evergreen shrub displaying fragrant flowers from late fall through early winter. Although they can grow up to 10' or so in height they respond well to pruning to size after they bloom. Feed in autumn with a fertilizer for acid loving plants. Avoid direct sun in our summers, prefers morning sun to filtered shade. Large range of bloom colors from whites to reds, and pinks.
