The holiday fun stuff starts arriving the first week of December:

PANSIES: We still have excellent supply of pansies and they are great to plant this time of year. For the yards with deciduous trees, it is a good time to start planting the once shady areas as the leaves are beginning to fall and the beds will become sunny locations. For the pansies that have been planted for a few weeks now it is a good idea to cut back on the water and allow to dry out some between watering. Watering once every 4-7 days should be adequate for a healthy bed. (If a hard freeze appears in the forecast, water thoroughly a day or so prior to the freeze)
RECYCLING: The Recycling program has been a huge success. We are now collecting used nursery plastic and sending it back to the manufacturer for recycling. Bring us the used nursery flats, pots and containers and they no longer will end up in the land fill.
Although winter has not arrived yet on paper we are right in the middle of next spring with planning, ordering and growing our plant material. There are some great new items, some interesting old items we are bringing back and re-working more into our Individual line up for pots, baskets and containers. We will update the items on the web site after the first of the year, and keep all of you posted on the new plants.
