Cuphea CHA-CHA, if the name alone does not draw attention to this plant then check out the reddish-violet flowers that cover the plant from spring until frost. Cha-Cha cuphea is in the Mexican Heather family of plants, and we all know how hardy and summer loving they are. Looser and more free flowing than Mexican heather, with larger blooms Cuphea Cha Cha makes a great filler and spiller in containers and planters. Adding them into a flower bed they are equally outstanding adding tons of flowers all summer long with little or hardly any maintenance. Choose an area that gets at least half day of full sun, to all day sun for best flower and plant performance. This one is not a good selection for areas that get too much shade. |
