Name: Caladium, Fancy |
||
Brightly colored foliage in shades of red, pinks and whites are a true southern staple for the shaded garden and landscape. Using the different colors and textures in and among other shade lovers creates a very eye catching display. Plant Caladiums as late as you can hold off; planting them too early can cause them to get a weaker start and not take off like you think they should. It does not even take a late frost for the caladium to take a hit, temperatures in the lower 40's and a good breeze can do some temporary damage to these tropical leafy beauties. |
